Tesla (vehicle)

Status: experimental novelty.

A Tesla has no IMU. The driver synthesises gyro and accel from the vehicle’s live heading and speed via the Fleet API, so the car shows up as a tracker. It authenticates with OAuth2 and reads the streaming feed, which caps out around 10 Hz - the driver sizes the fusion timestep to match.

Running it for real needs a car plus Fleet API credentials. A recorded-drive replay drives the rest of the stack without a vehicle. No magnetometer, battery, or rumble.
